D, if a recovery vehicle counts, that is. I got the chance to crawl around in a tank recovery vehicle when I was a teenager, at a fair.

N. I've seen lots of real ones up close, at various venues, including the Littlefield collection, before it was broken up, in CA.

O. Had a father who collected the damn things and watched them rust over years in our backyard?

My main experience is in a 432 in Germany in the 80's. These things were supposed to be able to swim and be NBC proof, I always used to stare at the seals on the back door as shafts of sunlight pierced the rear of the vehicle. There was no way they would have kept me in there if it was going through water lol.

I trained briefly with M48A5 and M113 some in ROTC and our police department had a wheeled armored vehicle for a short time, but no combat use.

Rumbled around in an M113, some truck I don't recall and been next to Leopard 2 tanks (A5 I believe).

Since I'm a Navy Man, I'm slightly miffed you didn't do one of these topics for warships…

B to F. I've driven a 432.

As there is answer B I would say that there should be an answer telling "I have seen a real one(s)."
I saw hundreds of them, especially during my youth in Northern Germany back in the 80s…

Cheers,
Benjamin
