Well, maybe the last update of the year…hopefully one more though…so, what's new at the Solo Wargamers Association Lone Warrior Blog ?

Well first off, Jonathan Aird reviews Land of the Free, the new 18th – early 19th century rules from Osprey. PDF link Very impressive.

Paul le long gives an Osprey in brief review of Elite 151 World War II Jungle Warfare Tactics PDF link , which, being full of scenario ideas is perfect for wargamers.

Meanwhile Rob Morgan provides an in-depth review of MAA154 Arthur and the Anglo-Saxon Wars PDF link , and adds some further reading once this primer has been absorbed.

And December's sample article comes from Lone Warrior Issue 182 and is David Newport's Company Commander – a large campaign set on the Western Front in WWII. It uses his Tactical Combat rules which are available for free from the Lone Warrior site : PDF link

Good stuff!
