I've got a Norse-Gael warband under way for SAGA. Recently, I saw Footsore Miniatures Dark Age Irish line and put in an order. The figures are lovely and make a great addition to the warband. More pics and the full warband are up on my blog here.

Very nice! Are the shields done with decals? If so, where do you get them? |

Thanks fellows! A bunch of us in the Twin Cities are going to attend the SAGA Grand Melee in Chicago in March. We've been busy with weekly games and painting for the big day. Mr. Canuck, these are Little Big Men Studios shield transfers. They are so nice that I use them for almost all my 28mm Dark Age figures. For me, the trick is to match my paints carefully to the shield colors for the edges of the shields and to muddy them a bit with AP soft tone wash. |
