I just caught the very end of this movie on Turner Classic last night.

imdb.com/title/tt0056646

From what I saw (only about 15 mins.), it looked a bit "Spaghetti Western" in style. It seemed OK though.

I think there was a real, live SAINT in the big battle at the end, too! One guy had a flaming sword to dispatch the "Infidels!"

Don't go into it TOO seriously, and you should be OK. grin

I prefer El Cid starring "Moses".

Cornel Wilde in "Sword of Lancelot". Classic!

Mr Canuck, at least it made a change from any number of Randolph Scott B movies!

I noticed another TCM movie about the Third Crusade – I think called 'King Richard and the Crusaders' – but I stopped taking it seriously once Rex Harrison popped up as Salah al-Din!

Hmmm, I wonder why no medieval rules set gives a Christian army the ability of use the cross formation. It looked very effective in the movie, especially when led by two Saints with flaming swords. :-)
