The box ships flat and you assemble it, it's plywood. Rigid enough I think.

With a foam rubber inner liner. That can protect from rattling against the box walls, but my gosh what's to keep the model from sliding around on the shelves?

Look at this picture from that link. Would you transport your models that way? No padding no separators just sitting several of them on a shelf inside a moving box? Rattling against each other?

It looks like they're bluetaced to the shelf. I woouldn't trust that but maybe the owner is a better driver than I.

You're right! I didn't recognize those little white blobs in the picture. That makes more sense.

I'm with you about trusting that though.

I don't get it. How's this better than a box with foam? Or is this just for high-end stuff?
