The linked article says as early as the new year! I need to finish a few hundred Romans first! Where does the time go?! I will probably have to hold off on ordering these until February or so, though I might get a few for conversion purposes for the Romans first (the fellow in the bell breast plate looks great).

Their releases for ancients have really picked up!

Sadly, this is far more Carthaginian infantry than I can use for a DBA army all in one box :-(

DBM?

For me, I am holding fire until I see the complete range – including cavalry and elephant riders. Really want to do Punic Wars, so this could be the incentive I need.

Early Libyan (Garamantian?) and Kyrenean Greek (with allies) are a possibility here.

But you could put together two armies and play a Carthaginian civil war engagement. If I am not mistaken, there might be some sort of historical precedent.

Griefbringer,
There was the Mercenary war, which included lots of lybians on both sides. It was between the first and second punic wars.

Perhaps DBA players need to get together and share a box.

would be a good buy for impetus

I plan to use them for Hail Caesar, Impetus and Sword and Spear probs, along with a host of other ancient games I have been buying rules for but not playing yet that allow or can be adjusted for multibasing.

I do love that they give you a number of different types of figures in a single box, and so many guys. Lets you get all your inf for something like DBA with one box.
