Last week, when I was at Target shopping, I noticed these small plastic faceted ornaments in a tube for $1 USD in the bargain section they have at the front of most Target stores. I thought they would have a number of gaming uses, the easiest and quickest of which would be as some sort of storage tanks. I think they would work for 6mm, 10mm, or 15mm. I imagine they would also make fine smaller tanks for the larger scales.
Shown with 10mm fugres for scale. The full article on my blog: link |

Nice. Might be good for lighter than air vehicles, too. Bob |

You could also leave them as-is and use them as alien structures. |

They could also be used for Star Viking type starships. H. Beam Piper described his ships as huge globes. |

They also can be used to add color to trees. :-) Back on topic, they look the shape of fuel containers used on some of the models used in three space 1999 TV show. Nice find. |

Could also work as radar domes for 6mm. |

Nice job… small for the scale I like though. |

Thanks for all the kind remarks, and other ideas! With a whole tube of them, I can try a number of things. |

Nice catch. They work well. They also make me yearn to fly in with an X-Wing to take out your bridge deflector shields. |
