But I'm not too picky, I'd be happy to buy some models that could serve as bullywugs, slaad, sahuagin, locathah, kuo-toa or Deep Ones. Just some scaly/ warty slimy cold legged bipeds for use in a tabletop RPG. Ideally I'd like about 12 of them, not too expensive. Got a manufacturer/model/line to recommend? Links? |

Take a look at Reaper miniatures. |

Yeah, I think the Reaper Bones line would be a great bet. I believe there are some bullywug types coming out once the 2nd kickstarter is released--early 2015 perhaps? You might also check out these fellows, who are 20mm but blocky and good for 28mm heft wise link David splinteredlightminis.com |

For Bullywugs, check out Otherworld Miniatures. They have 6 different poses and I just got two of each for my dozen. While the Reaper have potential, there just isn't enough diversity in poses for me to get 15-20 figures. I would love to get some Kuo-toa, I want to run the GDQ series or Underdark in 5th ed. Chris |

Check out the clix line of games. There are some specifically labeled as deep ones in horrorclix, but they are a bit pricey. The Deep Spawn are very Deep One-y & much cheaper since they're from the older Mage Knight game. link The Mage Knight Deep Spawn are probably about 50% taller than the older style metal deep ones like from Grenadier. You can see the Mage Knight figure in the last 2 pictures of Beastman/Frogman board from this convention report. link It's one in the middle of the beastmen in the 2nd to last picture & the one kind of in front of the hut in the last one. |

Mage Knight has not only the Deep Spawn (virtually perfect for Sahuagin, from AD&D Monster Manual, and cheap -- like <$3 per figure, on e-Bay) -- search for lots of this figure for better prices, as they are fairly common). Also, for Lizard Men types, search e-Bay for Mage Knight Whelp figures -- they make great Lizard Men, IMO, and very affordable. There are also MK Whelp Zombies! If the basic paint scheme is correct, The Dip technique does wonders on improving their appearance for little cost, and time (matte clear coat to dull the shine). Cheers! |

I use the Splintered Light toads, 3 to a 40mm base. Reaper Tiik warriors and Hordes Bog Trogs make a fine fishy team. |
