Hey all---I playtested my WWII game tonight, using 6mm troops duking it out in the Hurtgen. The Americans took the ridgeline, mainly thanks to direct fire support from a pair of Shermans, but suffered heavy casualties and were pinned down by German fire multiple times. Leader casualties were especially heavy.

More pics and a full AAR at my blog, here link Pics to whet the appetite below. Thanks for looking!

Great battle report. I think it had the right feel for an attack against an entrenched position. I would hate to be in their shoes!

I agree, great batrep, fun to read, great looking table and minis, and I personally always love the 'economy' tables (I play most of my stuff on 2' x 2' or 3' x 3' in 6 or 10mm).

I look forward to your next write up!

Jack

Looking forward to checking these out when available. :) Gah! I'm so jealous of people playing with nice models and terrain on a 3x3! I'm so invested in 15mm it will be a long while before I can enjoy that convenience :/

Thanks for the comments!

Cheessailor---I'll be posting more AARs and when I get closer to completion, I'll put up more info about the rules. As for small tables, nothing's stopping you doing it with 15s, at least in WWII, just gotta keep battles infantry centric and/or in dense terrain.
