The first Saturday in December is our annual Seven Years' War Light Troop Game. Ten from our companionable group attended. Each player had a mission known only to him as eight commands maneuvered and negotiated their way upon the wealthy plain of Germania here:

----------
We had two Cossack commanders, a merry troupe of Gallian courtiers, the mysterious Black Legion of Der Alte Fritz, and four Germanian commanders; The Duke himself, a Harbor Master, Tower and Toll Gate Officer and an audacious Light Cavalry Commander.
----------
The story advances by briefly captioned and colorful photos. This was a singularly unique game. I want to say more, but the captions and a brief narrative will easily and quickly explain the rest.
----------
Respectfully,
Bill P.

Very nice reports, gents. I for one did not mind the lack of action. The tension itself was entertaining.

-Your humble tollmaster.
