I painted the Box Girder Bridge from Sarissa Precision Limited . It is a rather large bridge that is not really difficult to build. It can be used either for the west or the east front. link

That bridge would look great with train tracks going across it! What's the inside width of the roadway portion of it? Has anyone here built the other styles of Sarissa's bridges? I'm also curious about the inside width of their stone bridges and the lovely canal bridge. |

The inside width is a lit more than 3" 1/4 about 8.5cm |

I was wondering why you painted it a red or redish brown color. What is that suppose to represent? |

The Golden Ga… oops, not the right answer! :) In France, those metal bridges are painted with various colors, brown, grey, blue, red, etc… Olivier |

Okay thanks for the explanation. I was not aware they did that in France. |

There are a lot of stone bridges that replaced the wooden ones. At the end of the 19th century, metal structures were very popular after Eiffel and his tower. Eiffel build or designed several metal bridges at this time : link link (the Souleuvre river is the same one crossed by the Allies during operation Bluecoat in august 1944 in Normandy.) |
