Organised by Dave and Phil from the Gravesend Wargamers club, a couple of weeks back there was a full weekends Dark Age gaming using the War & Conquest wargames rule set. The event was held at the Wargames Foundry premises near Newark.

So, without further ado – a big thanks to Dave and Phil and everyone else involved. The event was Dark Age themed, Dave had generated his own lists and there was much laughter and mirth – you can read more about the event details here and view lots and lots of pictures of Dark Age armies in action link

If you want to buy a copy of War & Conquest you can get from here link which also gives you a link to page spreads and the 500 free online army lists.

War & Conquest is also available from a range of retailers and distributors including Wargames Factory, Casemate, Amazon and Northstar

Next event will be in Bristol Feb/March, and I understand the next event at Foundry is provisionally planned for May and will be Classical based

That game looks amazing. One thing I will always be jelous of you brits for, well Europe in general, is your awesome war gaming stores and scene. So hard to find a miniatures store over here that plays much other than 40k and maybe flames of war if you are lucky.

Great looking games and great looking location!
