Just love your work and I save everything for my future efforts. Perry Empress Dragoons I did not want to like, as I thought them (so unusually for Perrys) ill proportioned and Hobbit like. The Gendarmes d'Elite are the same poses with bearskins, but seem totally transformed, in comparison. The helmets are brass throughout I am sure, the silver I am seeing is just a highlight? I thought lace of horse furniture was aurore, as for the aigulettes you have done so well. It seems shown as gold here for all, as for only NCO and occifers, as I had thought……. This is nit picking. What about the leopardskin spots on the turbans? Brilliant… I tried to do these some time ago and seeing them now realise how my skills have since increased. The lace on the saddle cloth I think is right colour…but what a mess! Two years ago I thought this was great. Your work is inspiring!
