Any of you WWII buffs know if Heroics and Ros AFVs are a good match with Adler infantry?
I would go for GHQ but I will only need a few bits and pieces and object to having to buy them 5 at a time when they won't get used.

Thanks in advance

That is apart from one of worst WW2 germans I ever made also been replaced eons ago. Please let me have your address so I can send you some up to date stuff. That pic doesnt do the current Heriocs stuff any favours either!
Hampshire Hog If your going with Heroics for vehicles seems sensible to use their perfectly good infantry too. Our figs were designed to go with the larger vehicles like GHQ.

I don't know why more manufacturers do not post comparison photos on their websites.

It's obvious people will be concerned about compatibility so a line up of H&R, Adler, GHQ infantry next to vehicles from H&R, Scotia, GHQ etc would surely make sense.

The site Toronto linked to is useful but not up to date and the painting is not doing anyone's figures any favours..

Martin Rapier08 Dec 2014 12:13 a.m. PST

So Bob is a crap painter who has used the wrong figures for his comparisons? Good thing it is a hobby not a job isn't it!

Skarper08 Dec 2014 3:24 a.m. PST

I don't mean to disparage anyone's efforts – I have found that site useful in the past.

I'm just surprised more manufacturers don't provide their own comparison pictures.

The painting speaks for itself. Would be fine on the tabletop but is not a good advert for the models.
