Now you can field the Night Haunter in your Night Lords army. This one will be useful even beyond the Heresy. It would be neat to have a pre-power armour version of the model too from when he was just a violent vigilante.

It has been at least a decade since I had anything to do with 40K but those two figures don't look like they are even in the same scale.

That's because the larger one is a Primarch. They're meant to be much larger than any marine.

Reading the background fluff, he and Mortarion were the two primarchs that I was disappointed went to chaos given their backgrounds.

I agree, especially on Mortarion. Oh, and Magnus – it sucks that Magnus was basically turned to Chaos by the hubris of the Emperor while attempting to warn him of the heresy.
