I've eaten MRE's and (older) British ration packs.
The Spanish lunch pack has … squid in vegetable oil…
I'm out…
My food tastes are somewhat based on Orwell's Animal Farm, vis a vis "four legs good, two legs bad" but I extend that to "any other number: really, really bad…"
Chicken gets a nod – but only just – as it at least has four limbs, if not legs. But I'm careful…
Fish has no legs so that's out, but I'll eat Fish Fingers as it kids me into thinking it had limbs. Ditto snakes and worms: No legs so no thanks.
Squid, octopus, shrimp, crab… are you serious? :)
Yeah I'm sure I'm missing out and all that but the reality is I'm just pretty squeamish. I quite like meat but – to be frank – I'm happy enough with good meat substitute (Quorn and some soya).
Things with zero – or six, eight, ten or any other number of legs – not so much.
I mean snails. Come on…
