This will be my sixth or seventh time leading a walking tour at Perryville State Historic Site in Kentucky. What started as an excuse to get my hiking group on the battlefield has turned into an expanded event, with the 2015 edition going to two days. Last year's turnout was over 40 participants, and I expect this year to grow even more with the possible addition of a local Perryville author.
