Hi chaps
Slowly getting back into the swing of things. Finished another Zulu Regiment. I am not sure how I used to knock a 36 figure regiment out in four days when this one took me two weeks.

My first blog update in a while. Please check it out at the Woolshed.

Cheers
Brian

Very nice! My painting speed, which was never that great, has slowed down also. Just age I guess.

Those are some great looking Zulus. Are the figures Empress?

Yes – the are Black Tree. I have read a few reviews saying that the anatomy of the figures was a bit strange but really? I can't fault these guys. there are a few goofy poses (I think of them as a homage to Old Glory) but for the most part I think they are great. The price is a bonus as well.

The shields have way too few lacing thingies but they work – and are easy to paint. I mean you can tell that they are Zulus.

I am trying to make every regiment at Isandlwana – nearly half way there.

@D A THB – How many figs per regiment are you doing?
