Blogmaster Alan at the South London Warlords did an entry on the club blog detailing a Hammer's Slammers: The Crucible game we played on Monday.

It has Alan's perspective – and mine as well – of the game from both sides: his Hashemite Desert Raiders and my Stewart Regiment. I thought you might like to have a look at it!

Thanks folks.

Zac's right: although I have the Tomica ones as well, these are some Tesco plastic ones that he found on ebay that I, erhm… kind of swooped in on :)

The game was a lot of laughs. McWong: email me when you have dates and I"ll set it up if at all humanly possible!

I love seeing the posts from these games they seem so dynamic. How long does a turn/game last?

John Treadaway04 Dec 2014 3:21 a.m. PST

Kozak

That game lasted a relaxed two and a half hours. We arrived at as about 7.45, spent 20 minutes setting up th scenery and played till some time after 10. In fact, az we had the scenery and tables put away by 10.30, it was more like two hours, really.

That was six turns (I'm pretty sure!) With Alan's twenty odd vehicles and around 40 infantry on about ten stands versus my 7 vehicles, 2 AT guns (which are modelled both in the towed status and deployed with crew) plus twenty odd figures on 5 stands.
