Great work – not a fleet I know much about

Especially like the basing

Chortle Fezian03 Dec 2014 9:33 a.m. PST

Hi Julian,
I love the rigging. How did you find it to do? I just love them. I also love your table top. Are they yours or are they moving on.
Be safe
Rory

Hi Rory,

I appreciate your words, I also appreciate the help you've given me to make these gear properly.
These ships are a customer order.

Best regards,
Julián.

These are Russian Civil War era ships?

ModelJShip04 Dec 2014 3:07 p.m. PST

Hi tuscaloosa, no, they are Napoleonic era.

Pretty coool to see the Russian Mediterranean Fleet. Saw lots of action. Generally speaking the Russian Navy of the Napoleonic wars is quite overlooked by wargamers, even though it saw action against the Swedes (if you want to include Gustav's III war), Ottomans, French, and British.
