According to Uniforms of the Napoleonic Wars, they were gold with black stripes. I havenīt checked my Ospreys yet to confirm that though. |

Thatīs probably right. I couldnīt decide from the pictures I saw if they were yellow or gold. |

They were across the width at an angle, kind of like a candy cane. |
