My ancient Canon PIXMA PI4200 has just given up the ghost. It printed out one final page then the lights started blinking. Nothing I did helped. Now I can't even power it up. The only "problem" I ever had with it was ink and I was able to find an inexpensive 3rd party supplier for that. Christmas isn't going to be a mystery this year. I know what I'm getting! Tim |

Peek into the insides and look for a watch battery (usually easily accessable.) I've had electronics stuff "die", and it was only a dead battery that needed replacing (it keeps the memory "powered" while the main power is off, but if it dies, the machine won't turn on.) Nothin' to lose at this point, right? ;-) |
