The problem is with Australian Post.
The parcels left the U.S. and entered Australia. That is where US Post can do no more tracking unless Aussie post scans it on delivery.
I know who Alan is but not sure of the other but I can guess from the name.
One assumes that if Aussie post does;t properly deliver the parcel it will eventually come back to me in the USA. This is where the Atlanta entry in tracking means. That must be a station for examining the parcel.
After numerous hours trying to find out what is going on (I challenge anyone to attempt to get an answer or even speak to someone who can help at the post assuming you can talk to a human) I have been in contact with someone who has taken pity on me at the local post terminal and they are trying to get an answer for me. Until I get a call back there is nothing I can do but wait.
However, in Alan's case, he declined insurance so there is little I can do with the post to claim anything. Yes, the post attitude sucks but as it left the USA and entered Australia their position is that their responsibility is over. They did what they were paid to do.
I have never had any issue with Aussie post before and we ship 10-20 parcels there a week. But since June several have gone missing. Nothing has changed at our end. The post seems to have changed policy as they used to try to get an answer to Aussie post but I am getting stonewalled here. I was told all I can do is wait for its eventual return to me.
