I'm looking for a viking and a mongol warlord as display figures/gifts.

Preferably 28mm.

Any suggestions?

Curteys, Irregular, Steve Barber etc, If the manufacturer makes Mongols there is a very good chance they will do a CnC figure. Check out the websites.

Ebob has a Subadai model; the picture isn;t very flattering though.

Wargames Foundry makes some nice Vikings that could be used as warlords. Of course, they come in packs of six, leaving you with the onerous duty of figuring out what to do with the other five figures.

Mongols ? No getting around Fireforge Games ….. Plastics (weigh a lot lesser and crispier in detail). They could not have been made any better….
