This is what I call a recommendation! From Bob Chicka, ace painter 'Evil Bob", on his own Facebook Page.

"Luckily I have a copy of Howard Whitehouse's Astounding Tales. Hands down one of the most entertaining sets of rules I have read (and the list is fairly long!) You can get it PDF. I'm sure Howard can post the link as I'm half in the bag after a night at the club.

I'm not trying to blow smoke up Howard Whitehouse's ass, but without a doubt I can say they are one of the best reading rule sets I have ever read. And that's not the alcohol talking."

I've only read the one from several incarnations ago, but would have to agree--it's one of those very (very!) rare rules sets that is great fun to read and hugely inspiring.

And no, the alcohol isn't speaking easy for me either.

Honest!

Honestly guys, it's a good read and a great set of rules. If you haven't checked them out please do.

I'd accuse you of sock puppetry, sir, but you know you're not fooling anyone, so why bother? Still, I suppose one has a right to crow a bit. Perhaps even imbibe a celebratory beverage or two.

Um, I'm not MJS.

Um, I'm not MJS.

That is what they all say.

Sock puppet? Umm OK. I didn't know they were one in the same. I never noticed a big resembliance between the two in person.

Heck I will recommend your games even without a beer!
