While I'm on the subject of Minifigs' 12mm scale, Modern offerings, figured I should ask about their West German Infantry pack as well. Is it just me, or does it appear that they are wearing WWII German Wehrmacht-style helmets, or the modern US Fritz helmets? Again, perhaps just a trick of the light, or the angle, but I don't think so. The rifles do look like G-3s at least. Comments? |

I believe you are correct, on both accounts. I would think that G-3 armed West Germans would be in the older style helmet, one that looks like an American helmet from WWII. |

Yea, that's why I'm concerned. Hard to tell in this photo, but the ones that are a bit clearer, on the right, certainly look like they are wearing Wehrmacht helmets to me:

I've looked at buying these myself, several times, but as you have pointed out, the helmet does seem to be incorrect for West Germans armed with G-3s. |
