I use a Swann-Morton No. 3 scalpel handle, with No 11 blades (non-sterile). Blades are cheaper bought in boxes of 100 on Ebay. I have recently acquired some of the large acrylic blue handle types, both 5A and 6A handles, which make for a surer grip and allow deft handling (this after almost taking off the tip of my left index finger with a No.26 blade whilst de-flashing with the slim style handle) More expensive, but safer. |

I hate BF tracks. If they did more models with resin hulls and plastic tracks I might have stayed with them. That said the Zvezda KVs are a bit plain. I can understand why the tracks lack detail, the only way to get good detail on tracks is with three part (or more) moulds. The BF plastic tracks are really nice. |
