That's strange, I was looking at exactly the same figure myself yesterday whilst trying to research German flamethrower painting.

Wow!Love the paint job. I'm always jealous of how people can paint a face (i.e flesh tones). I thought German flamethrowers were a two man operation during W.W.1 -or is that a later model?

This is an example that looks to be based on the late war kleine Flammenwerfer (Kleif) M.1917 by the looks. It was the larger of the two main types of FW used in the war, the other being the Wechselapparat (Wex). Almost all photos show two men operating both types of FW. This meant that the flexible hose could be kept almost straight rather than the U shape in this model. Doesn't detract from the superb paint job though.
