I am thinking of doing some Spanish Main type game with both a sea and land component mainly in the Elizabeth era. I was planning on using 1/1200 valiants for the ships and 10mm for the land. I was looking at Pendrakens range of figures and was wondering which ones would be best for the Spanish and others in the new world? link

Also if i decide to go one scale and scratch build some 10mm scale ships where would one find period guns for them?

Go with 15mm. Way more selection.
