I'm abit of a plastics fan since the new generation of kits hit the market, so I picked up the Perry acw artillery set. Now the figures don't really match up with my Dixon stuff so after messing about as I always seem to do here's the result. It's only to see if it would work or not
the kit is nice enough and it gives you a choice of barrels! So does it work, the crew are old figures ready for stripping and repainting but hopefully it gives enough of an idea to see if it works. So painting will be the real test, so feedback and discussion welcome Cheers Russ |

Hey Russ, before you strip and repaint try the dip on them first. The paint jobs aren't that bad. |

I agree, the paint jobs look very salvageable. |

Looks fine to me and I agree on the paint job, why create extra work :) |

Thanks for the comments guys, I do need to repaint them into Blue belliesI'm afraid! My Rebs have enough artillery for the moment and my union forces are very lacking compared to my Rebs. I really do need to get the Union out of the cabinet and take some pics of them, although I say I need to address the lack of Union forces my next guys up on the paint table are Tigers in all their Blue glory! So I can kind of justify doing them next in a slightly weird way. |
