In September of this year I ran a 1/285th scale (Micro Armor) game based in the 2003 "Thunder Run" into Baghdad. In this "alternate reality" version, the American forces entered the Baghdad Parade Grounds and were met by Iraqi Republican Guard forces. We had 6 players, 3 per side. In the end, the Iraqis made a hell of an effort and eventually lost but they took out a lot of American armor in the mean time. The Americans ended the game with 2 M1A1 Abrams and 3 M2 Bradleys remaining. I think the Republican Guard would probably consider that a pretty good day against the Americans.

Great looking game. It's the little details, like the date/palm trees, that really make a table come alive!
