I recently finished painting a few "Army Guys" 1/32nd scale plastic figures I picked up from The Toy Soldier Depot.

They are a great deal, at $5.99 USD for a plastic cylinder containing 17 pieces.

Nice, hard plastic that takes paint well. This set is listed as "Chinese" but I painted them as WWII Soviet infantry.

Looks like clones of several poses from the Italeri WWII Soviet infantry pack, but with some interesting variations.

Thank you all for the positive feedback.

The unpainted figures are not all that impressive, but with a little paint, they really "come alive."

You certainly cannot beat the price. And the plastic is harder than Armies in Plastic or HaT Industries figures, but less brittle than plastic kit figures like those from Tamiya.

So far, no problems with paint "flakage" as I've had with AiP, HaT, or Marx re-casts.

In your pictures they have taken the paint well.
