"Seeking Camel with broken down Napoleonic 3Pdr in 28mm" I'm lonely too, Bub, but you don't see me announcing the fact here on TMP, do you? |

Brigade Games do dromedary corps for the French in Egypt. I'm sure you could use that as a base for your project. |

CASTAWAY ARTS has a camel team with a broken down gun. I think it is four camels carrying the wheels, barrel, carriage and a fourth with gun implements and ammo boxes. I have the model and it is used for Colonials, but would work for your application. Kevin |

I was unaware the Church of England clergymen could be as light as 3 pounds! And it seems rather cruel to strap one who has suffered a nervous breakdown to a camel… |

Reminds me of a guy who joined the Foreign Legion and was posted to some fort away out in the middle of the desert. Talking to the guys in the barracks, he asked what they did for entertainment (away out, alone, in the desert). They replied that, in the absence of women, their only solace was the camels. So, every morning, when reveille was sounded, there was a great rush to …. er,,,, where the camels were stabled. However, the new recruit queried, "Why the rush? After all, the camels outnumber the men." The reply to which was, "but you want a nice one." [P.S. Am I in big trouble now?] |

I have heard many versions of that. This is a new one. |

I wrote to my professional association suggesting they should publish a list of members broken down by age and sex. (This will only work if English is your native language) Next national newsletter, at my request, a list of "UK ENT Surgeons Broken Down by Age and Sex". They fell for it and I have never lived it down since. |

I am not sure where I got these from but it might have been Castaway Arts. I need to work on the color and painting of the camels. They are too brown and also the same color all over.
