Finally after all the tribulations with primer not wanting to bond to the kit's resin, I have managed to finish the Grifon-G IFV I purchased from Khurasan Miniatures a little while back -

Glad you got that taken care of. I use a cleaner specifically designed to remove silicon based materials. Works great in prepping resin models.

Diz, looks good – what primer were you using?

Yeah, it was really frustrating, but all the grief was worth it in the long run. The Grifon is a great little kit. Now that I know how to circumvent the priming issue I had, I will probably pick up another 1 or 2 in the near future.

@ kmfrye

Reaper MSP Black Primer. It's a brush on primer I use because I can't use aerosol primers due to respiratory problems.

Oh, I see. Then Testors gray is right out.

I used to only use brush-on primer, thinking that aerosols were a trifle wasteful. Then I discovered I had more pennies and less time, and crossed over to aeros.

Last year, I found an old pot of Heritage White Primer – still good. Smelled of Old Lost Sunday Afternoons.
