Alan Marsh sculpted him and I really like that set.

Brilliant! He will definitely be joining my Peninsular British army.

That is just what this vehicle needed to bring it to life. Indeed his conversion potential is massive.

I don't suppose he might just come with a separate head by any chance? It would then take little to convert him to any army's officer.

The top hat head alone is invaluable. When working on Napoleon's Postilions I had to scratch build as such civilian rig is almost impossible to find for early 1800's (the "savants" help!)

Really imaginative, coming just after the Tsar as well!

Another version with him having a covered Bicorne handing out orders would be nice indeed. Need to get the pretty thing into a mould first of all.

If you had the time and money there could be a series of officers for different nations doing something 'typical' for each. Giving the British officer a bottle is inspired.

I've been trying to buy some figs from Wesfalia for ages but my emails go unanswered – I have to say their attitude to commerce is refreshingly ungrasping but I would quite like to give them some money in exchange for some of their products.

If anyone from Westfalia reads this perhaps they could get in touch (or tell me how I'm going wrong with the ordering process!)

This is a really superb vignette that is so full of character. I heartily agree with the previous suggestions.

When this vignette is in production I will put in order for it an few other items as well.

Well done Kawe and of course Alan Marsh!

Lord Hill, I have previously called them the Ben and Jerry of the Napoleonic wargame world. They used to send out stuff and then politely ask to be paid, if it was not too much trouble. Like Capt Miller on the bridge…if you wanted stuff from Westfalia, you had to "Earn this".

You said ungrasping. Exactly. To my generation, they were like a bunch of Deadheads. Pay if you want to, if not, that's your trip (man).

An alternative head would vastly increase interest. Even just a separate head, so the saw need come out. Niels tells me there is to be a "British" (ie KGL, Hanoverian, Irish Imperial Guard) ADC to go with this. ADCs that are not French! Long needed indeed.

Damn your eyes sir and a drunkard to boot!!!

Lord Hill29 Nov 2014 5:04 p.m. PST

Thank Kawe, I'm away at the moment but will send an order when I get back

And I agree – some British ADCs should be next – time is running out for 2015!
