Hi all,

Using the cardboard scenery in the Combat Zone box set as a template, I thought I'd have a go at Matakishi style corkboard upgrades.  This one is still WIP (the interior flooring isn't fully painted yet).  Obviously a lot grimmer than Matakishi's delightful and unique style, but I'm pretty happy with it and I think I can knock them out a hell of a lot quicker now I've sorted out the methods.

Cork board walls, Costa sticks for floorboards, crackle effect paint, MDF base, printed out Battlestar posters.

The fluff is basically standard near future stuff, this being in the 'wastelands' and remnants of the old pre-war humanity prior to the Mega-City style new settlements.  Feedback welcome!

Looks great! I'll have to give that technique a try for those floorboards.

Very atmospheric and nicely done, I'd like to see a complete un destroyed building when its done as well.
Cheers and happy building.

Beautiful! I think these may actually be better even than Matakishi's buildings (is it heresy to suggest such a thing?).

Really captures the look of ruined concrete better than most foam or cork buildings I've seen.

I'm sorry, but these are terrible! I can't believe you'd waste our time showing this. You need to send those to me right away so I can destroy such rubbish! I'll even pay shipping! ;-)
Yeah, you can just reverse polarity in what I just posted! Those are exceptional! Well done!

Very nice looking terrain. Terrement, in the US I find cork at many places, Walmart and Target both regularly carry it. Look in the office supplies section.
