… This Weekend.

"Star Wars is just days away from returning to the big screen—or at least the trailer is.

Ending weeks of speculation, Lucasfilm confirmed today that what is being called "an early 88-second tease" for Star Wars: The Force Awakens will run in select theaters over the holiday weekend before heading to all theaters in December.

Confirmation actually came slightly earlier than intended, when the Regal Theaters chain accidentally posted details for its nine theater screenings online Monday morning before swiftly removing the post and replacing it with an image of Mon Mothma, revealing that many Bothans had died to bring us this information.."

I like the fact that they re-introduced camera movement into the Star Wars franchise!

All the new tech looks like crap.

Worse than even the prequels stuff.

This does not bode well for the movie(s).

Watched this over the weekend. Not really sure how I feel about it at this point. I can't really see enough to make a judgement, not sure I like the light saber I saw, but maybe I'll like it more when I see more of it.

So I'm not going to immediately jump on the "I hate it" wagon as of yet, it is Star Wars, and I'm glad to get more Star Wars movies out there.

Not thrilled with the split-wing X-Wings…

But given that it takes place 30 years later, guess we're lucky there are X-Wings at all.

(The ships from Star Wars Legacy were the most uninspired I've ever seen… only the TIE Predator had any promise at all.)

Why do 'they' feel they have to do something different with lightsabers for every new trilogy? The new one just looks like a recipe for self inflicted injury!

Otherwise looks interesting, but ultimately it will rise or fall on the quality of script.

Looked good to me – more "real" imagery and sounded good to boot. A year of waiting…

Do they have storm troopers who can hit the broad side of a barn, or are they using the SS extras from Fury?

SW has been disappointing for a while. Fingers crossed.
