To the wise Magi of TMP:
Does anyone know of a company which makes 15mm figures of Ultra-Modern USMC Marines firing 60 mm mortars?
Thanks and cheers.
Rod Robertson.

Sigh.

Hrmmm… looks like we need to poke Geoff.

QRF's modern US Army will work in a pinch for USMC, the difference between an M4 and an M16A4 is less than 1mm in the handguard, but QRF doesn't make any (ultra)Modern US mortar teams.

In a pinch I've jury-rigged some Peter Pig figures using their generic light mortars. Not a perfect solution but pretty close for 15mm figures.

Thanks gents:
I will keep looking around and if I find anything I will report back.
Cheers.

Geoff, we could use 60mm, 81mm, and 120mm mortars and crews, and the Marines use the French towed 120mm mortar.

The US Army's Striker units have dismounted 60mm tubes at the company level and dismounted 81mm tubes at battalion, in addition to the vehicle-mounted 120mm tubes.

And where's the rest of the Stryker family? I still need Stryker RSVs, Mortar carriers, a FISTV, and an ambulance version. And if I can wheedle, I'd love an Engineering Stryker with dozer blade and trailer. Note that the RSV and FISTV are almost identical to the basic Stryker ICV, only differing in the Recon and Fire Support boxes (which are different from each other).

And the Stryker MGS

I used Peter Pig WW2 Para teams (code 388) and then did a head swap with their modern heads (code 57), The base plate of the 60mm mortar should be circular I believe, but the WW2 version is square…I thought this was "close" enough.
