Ok,… I've gotta ask.
WHY 31mm?
Why not 28mm?

Hi Trailape, this is the response from Demigod games regarding scale;

"That's a great question. most of the other games are not actually 28mm, though that's what they are called. strictly speaking the scale for a human miniature should be measured from the feet to the eyes, for the likes of your major players like GW and PP, this scale actually fluctuates from 28mm up to 33mm for a human within the same range. this is typically done for artistic reasons and for practical ones like the need to make weapons thicker so etc.

31mm is the happy medium between these for the true anatomy approach of my models. This is the scale where the Conquest of the Gods miniatures dont look out of place when placed next to the other "28mm" ranges. If i did true 28mm then they would look tiny and loss of detail in scaling them down bothered me, any bigger and they look silly when placed near other models like the ones noted above."

Ok. So they're 28mm.
A case of "we're right and everybody else is wrong"
Poor marketing

I guess they decided they were wrong too. I just looked to see it was cancelled already.
