Just gotten back into these miniatures after several years and am looking for suggestions on how to store them. Any thoughts? |

I use the KR Multicase pick and pluck trays. I am using the Ninja Magic flight stand adapters so the spaceships aren't attached to their stands. Mike |

There's a ton of ways to store them. You go cheap to high end foam inserts. Which way are you looking to store them? |

I use Rare Earth Magnets on both the stands and the ships the magnets are very strong but cheap I was able to get 100 for around $4.00 USD on ebay. And the ships can be stored very neatly in boxes for storage and transportation. |

I've done that with magnets as well. I got tired of the bases breaking with the nubs inside the miniatures. |

I do the magnets on my WWII aircraft. How do you handle say for the Romulans with decals on the bottom of the ship for the bird of prey? Tom place it over the magnet would make it look crappy I would think. |

Maybe I'll use magnets on everything except the Romulans. Only glue the bases on for them. |

Went with the magnets. Issue I have run in with is on my Romulans, invariably, no how hard I try, the magnets tend to tear off the bottom of the model when attching to the stand, tearing the decal on the bottom of the mini:( |

For both my 1/300 WW2 planes and my spaceships, I drill I to the bottom of the mini so that the magnet is recessed (secured with a dab of epoxy). I suppose if I were really AR about it, I could put some putty on to hide it even better, but I don't bother. Doug |

I'm now going to try thin 1/16"agnets glued to the model and then the decal appied over top. |
