I just noticed that the set of Italian cavalry (Punic wars) I got have a problem. I purchased them as a unit of 12 figs. They are supposed to have spears. Four of them (musician, standard bearer and two troopers) have empty scabbards as if the figures were supposed to be wielding swords – which they plainly cannot be (the arm position for the troopers is plainly for spears). And in any case, they didn't supply swords. I hate that. Note: Name of said manufacturer intentionally left out as they are otherwise very nice figures. |

can you not glue some sort of representation of the hilt into the scabbard? |

Yes, that's annoying but did you contact the manufacturer directly for the swords? As a manufacturer myself, I really appreciate when customers contact me directly so I can have the opportunity to solve the problem. When I've had a problem, almost all of the companies fixed the error and even went beyond (extra sample figures, etc.) -Matt Beauchamp Hydra Miniatures hydraminiatures.com |

Correction – wasn't the SB, it was the unit leader. He is brandishing a war hammer, but has an empty sword scabbard |

I agree, I think it is stupid to not include the spears. That is one reason that I don't do Dark Ages or Medieval any longer. |

Inkpaduta, The two troopers did come with spears (no swords) the problem was none of the four figures involved were able to wield swords, yet their scabbards were empty as if they were wielding swords |
