Hello folks!! So I played the Mount and Blade WFaS game and then read the books and just recently discovered the minatures game. I would really enjoy making a Swedish force for the game, based strongly on infantry, and an army or two for them to fight. Can anyone tell me what minature ranges (in addition to the companies main one) would be relevant? Maybe TYW and some ECW figs? About how long arethe battles? I know at the time Calvary were pretty dominate, can infantry based forces still do ok? And is it possiable to have 4/6 player games with big enough forces? |

There are many companies that make 15mm miniatures that fit the With Fire and Sword Era. From TYW stuff to later 17th century stuff. Look or ranges on : Thirty Years Wars, English Civil War, League of Augusburg, Early Sun King Wars, Eastern Renaissance

I haven't played Mount & Blade, but from the description on their website, the miniatures game By Fire and Sword sounds like a very good fit. fireandsword.wargamer.pl --edited to add Rereading your post, looks like you've already found what I've linked to. Never mind. :) |

Thranite, There was a stand alone expansion for Mount and Blade that was based off the same books and period as this minatures game. It was pretty fun.
Anyway yes, thanks for the links. Someone was previewing some new miniatures from spare earlier on the boards, would those pikemen still be usable for a Swedish force? Edit: The Totentanz Miniatures are the ones I am talking about. They look very nice. |

I have put on 6 player games at cons since the rules came out and they wortk just fine. 6 player games seem to take 4-5 hours |
