You gotta stop pushing those Leonaur books.

They're expensive, they're poorly edited AND…most important…they're available for FREE from Google Books and Archive.org as .pdf downloads (and other formats).

I know you're not getting a cut from Leonaur, so please stop foisting these books off on others.

I hear ya, Andrew. I converted the Semenoff books to Epub myself (with my own covers) and am reading them on Ipad now.

I only posted them as info about the matters they comment.

Don't know if they are good/cheap/expensive/trash… etc.

I don't get a cut from nobody my friend.

Think it was a good idea, but if it wasn't no problem to not to post them again.

The OP has completely defeated my ignore and stifle choices. Aargh. :)

Tango,

I know you're only doing what you think is right to spread information and I KNOW your are NOT taking a cut, just that 95% of Leonaur's books are just re-titled reprints that are avail free, elsewhere.

I just don't want unsuspecting people to plunk good money down for absolutely no reason.

Thanks for that my friend.

Is it just me? I can get these "books" on my PC screen, where I will never ever read them, or I can get them in my hand, as a real paper book, to flick through as I choose, for about 15 quid a time.

This may be a generational thing. I want a book on my shelf. Something I can hold in my hand and treasure. These are hardly expensive by that standard, I think. You are paying for the paper version…up to you entirely, but well worth mentioning. (Grin)

I have always had a fair number of books on my bookshelves and more recently I've run out of shelf space.

I am actively considering moving a few books on but will probably buy a few more anyway, just more selectively.

I now have a Kindle Fire with hundreds of books on it, some I may never read as I expect that I will pass on before being able to do so.

I've never managed to 'read a book on my PC screen' as the Kindle still gives you that book in hand feel.

I still buy real books, just not so many!

"I know you're only doing what you think is right to spread information…."

It's more than that, but that's been discussed to death.

I agree with Andrew absolutly and for those who cannot read a book on screen, you may have the radical option to print out the PDF

But we have not really addressed the title.

I value Tango, I appreciate him, I even accept that he is human and not a computer programme, a search engine. But my emotional feeling for him does not run to true love…………..not yet anyway

I only need you acepted me a fine dinner… then let's see (smile)

Sometimes there is a fine line between information and propaganda.
