I have just posted the first in a mini-series of 6mm paper Waterloo army packs at my website; a Dutch-Belgian army.

So if you`d like to do Waterloo at very little expense each army costs only £5.00 GBP! At most you might only spend 30 on all the armies that you need for that battle and you can have many more too!

The "Paper Strength Units" 1815 Dutch-Belgian Napoleonic Army consists of 20 units or unit types and one flag file. The pack has the four cavalry units engage in the Waterloo campaign, foot and horse artillery with limbers and has infantry from Holland, Belgium, Nassau and the Indian Brigade. There are also Jagers and skirmishing light companies for all the infantry units supplied. The flag file has flags for the Line infantry, the Militia, Belgian units and the Jagers.

Future planned releases will be: 1815 Hanoverians & Brunswickers and a mixed pack of units of both French & British (e.g. most of the Brits being in Belgic shakos at this time). Also included at some point in these packs will be command bases of generals ADC`s with some accessories too.

The new 1815 Dutch-Belgian army is at:

Next for use with the Waterloo Paper armies I am making generals blocks for French British and Prussian armies – there will be brigade, divisional, corps and army command bases with mounted generals.

I`m hoping that these will be ready in the next two or three weeks or so.

Yep, just finished working today (it`s coming up to 5 p.m….
I have made some; French brigade generals, divisional generals and a corps general paper block.
From the front elevation; the brigade generals have 2 mounted generals, division has 3 mounted generals, the corps generals have 4 and the army command CinC bases will have 5 mounted figures.
I will add some ADC`s too later which will of course be single mounted.

Hi Michael,

These are looking very nice, I must say, and will look smart based and in formations per your rules!

What are the footprints of each infantry strip?

Cheers,
Bob

Thanks Bob,

The blocks are designed to fit within Grand Manoeuvre`s basing with a millimetre or so to spare for both sides gives something to make handling slightly easier and stronger.
The paper, when glued with PVA hardens quite well and so they can be surprising durable to quite normal pressures when handled.
The Infantry blocks are 18.5mm wide, and 4mm and 6mm deep for two-deep and three-deep lines respectively.

They can of course be used in other game rules basing systems and look best perhaps when used a little more "en masse".

Regards,

Mike.

I have just loaded my Waterloo Generals Pack on to the GM website.

This pack has nine files of French, British & Prussian brigade, divisional, corps & army generals blocks.

In total, there are 10 files in this pack and it includes a file of 6 A.D.C`s.

The personalities in the generals blocks are:

Napoleon (mounted or on foot), Ney, Wellington, Hill, Picton, Blucher, the Prince of Orange, and the Duke of Brunswick.

The price is £2.50 GBP (exclusive of VAT)

Not going to lie, I'm hoping to get my French and British 15mm figures painted up in time for a game on the anniversary in June – but if I don't, I definitely want to do SOMETHING for Waterloo and these look like they would be just the ticket! Consider this bookmarked for potential future use, Michael! Lol.

Cheers Bob !

Yep, they`re ready-painted ;-)
