I wanted to post some pics of figures on here, but there doesn't seem to be an upload option. How do I post pics on these boards?

Sorry for the dumb question.

You have to post them to another site like a blog or Flickr and then link to the picture.

Ironwolf21 Nov 2014 7:07 p.m. PST

looking forward to seeing them.

OK. I can try to put a blog link in. (Might have to start a blog, then.) But some guys manage to include pictures with their posts. That was more what I wanted to do.

OK, have created blog. This is just a trial effort with a couple of pics. Here's the link.

open a photobucket account (free) take digital pic upload it to the site, then select the photo then right click on the link at the top in the web address then paste it on your message. That is how I do it. I still don't know how they actually get the photo to show up in the past.
Good luck.

Blog is great- I see that you went with 6mm, space is a premium in Japan :)
Here is a shot of my stuff in 28mm.

Great job. It took a second to realize they were 6mm.

You can post them to imgur too and then just post the links here.

Or do like you did and then post the links here like this:

Thanks for the comments. I prefer 6mm in Japan. As you say, space is at a premium (and Japanese wives are even less understanding than Western ones…) and I'm not much of a painter. I haven't the patience to paint all the detail on 25/28mm figures. 6mm is much easier. Another plus is that they take less damage from falling, etc. Something to consider with the earthquakes here.

Incidentally, the figures are cheaper here than in the UK. Because of the way that VAT operates in the EU, I end up paying less, including P&P, than I would at home. It's crazy, but true.

Wow Grossman. Those Highlanders are really well painted. Nice job!

really like those 6mm figs, first glance I thought they were 15mm with the detail on them.

There is always the board game option. GMT American Revolution series is pretty good. I would probably do that before resorting to 6mm.

That is a pretty impressive paint job for 6mm! I can even see the blue turbans around the helments of the 3rd CLD which are out of focus at the back! Job well done!
