I had some mates up from Florida and they wanted to try out CoC with their 20mm early war minis. So we ran a couple of games. The first one was a basic Patrol scenario to get the hang of the rules and the second one was a bit more involved and included some SdKfz 222s, a tankette and some Polish cavalry.

Really nice looking kit, as always. I especially like the fields with the low-growing lines of crops. Beautifully done!

That really does look some excellent terrain you are playing on.

Really like the look of your table set up.

Very nice setup. I'm curious how you made the lower fields? Segments of towel redyed?
I'm also very pleased to see the counters I made in PDF being used.

(I'm working on a version two though, with Covering Fire markers the right width and some other tweaks)

The fields with rows of greens are made pretty simple. Brown fabric with some earthy overspray colors and then some foliage foam glued in rows. The thin fabric base allows it to be spray glued across the rolling terrain easily.
This set up was on top of the same topography that I use for the 6mm IABSM Kursk game that we played the day before.
So all this can be set up pretty quickly.

What a wonderful early war game. The scenary is spot on and so are the models, unlike a lot of the generic scenery you see these days this looks authentically Polish. I can see a lot of effort went into making the game look right . Thanks for posting these pictures they are really inspiring.
