Nothing big enough to be an 81mm mortar, that's for sure. |

I wouldn't worry about it. The mortar will be in the original kit. This is just a set of accessories for it. |

How many 1/35 scale miniature wargamers are actually fielding M4 mortar carriers in their games? These were battalion level assets, so not really something you would expect to show up in a skirmish (not that this ever stopped wargamers). Never mind that according to my sources the mortar could not even by fired from the halftrack. Instead, the crew needed to dismount and site the mortar somewhere next to the halftrack. Later M4A1 mortar carriers were modified to enable firing the mortar from the vehicle itself. |
