Hello, I ran across a reference online that indicated that there were two Landwehr cavalry elements (one source indicates these were only squadrons, another says that there were two regiments) that wore the a uniform similar to the Prussian Guard Cossack squadron (complete with fur cap and bag). I can't find this reference again (unfortunately), nor can I find any reference to this uniform among my on hand references (Nash being among those). Any information or definitive indication of a reference where this might be available would be appreciated. Best, Ed M |
