Does anyone make 6mm Dismounted Dragoons? I'm after the 16th & 17th Light Dragoons along with the Britiish Legion but will also get to the Colonial side eventually. I saw nothingthe Baccus or Adler sites including checking the 7YW ranges. Can someone suggest an alternate in earlier or later periods that might be close?

To create dismounted AWI dragoons I would do the following:

Take AWB3 British Light Infantry, Cap Skirmishing. If you look at the blow up pictures their headgear looks almost the same as British dragoons. Good enough that unless you are actually 6mms tall you can get them to pass with the same paint job.

Then buy ACW14 cavalry dismounted for the horses and you can use an extra reloading AWB3 guys to stand in as horse holders. Its possible Baccus will just sell you a few strips of the horses from ACW14.

I think you can then make some very nice dismounted dragoons.

Thanks. I'll do just as you suggest.

Pete at Baccus is very helpful with adjusting the content of packs if you ask nicely.
