Great looking stuff! But never, EVER open cyclopian doors… |

This a fantastic looking collection. I really like how you've been able to keep the buildings all looking like they came from the same town even though they are from different manufacturers. Great work!! Jim |

Richard, you always impress. Looks like you've had some busy moments at the swap meets. |

Thanks to all of you for taking the time to write. This collection was a lot of fun to put together… lots of strange and interesting stuff, a real feast for the imagination. Jim, thanks for the comment on the buildings. The color idea came from Kobblestone Miniatures. I liked the colors they painted their sample Middle Eastern buildings so much I wanted those colors to be what unified the look of my town. If you haven't had a look at the Kobblestone Miniatures website it is worth a viewing… beautiful buildings and the prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the buildings they sell. Early morning, it's always good to hear from you. Thank for the generous words, and you are right; the swap meet played a big part in putting this collection together. Mike the Bunkermeister can testify that I absolutely love the swap meet. I'm there every Saturday and Sunday morning. Just a note about this posting. I recently completed my latest collection which is a 28mm Darkest Africa collection. I hope to have it posted in the first half of December, but while I was involved in the picture selection process for that gallery, I realized that I hadn't posted my Egyptian Archeological Dig on TMP so I'm correcting that oversight now. Having just completed the Darkest Africa collection, I'm returning to my first love which is 15s (18s) and this week I began painting my French and Indian War collection. I think that project will last about 10 months. Once again, thanks for the kind words and for taking the time to write. Richard |

Hey, Richard, we are in sync now! I am working on my own 15/18 mm French and Indian War. Or, will be after the holidays. I probably have more figures than you but I bet you are done long before me – and not because of the quantities, neither. Look forward to seeing what you do. |

jgibbons, thank you. It's wonderful knowing one of my collections has earned an "Awesome!" Really appreciate it. Early morning, I hope I haven't gone too overboard with the size of my FIW project… I tried to keep the number of regiments on each side within sight of reality. Probably no surprise that most of my figures and terrain are by Blue Moon, but I do have a few packs from the Old Glory 15s SYW (French and British line and artillery) and they are really very nice figures. I began painting this week and I'm nearly done with my first French regiment… Regiment de Languedoc. I have a feeling that this project will take about 10 months to complete. I look forward to seeing what you do as well. Richard |

That is exactly what I want to do. I have the figures and some of the terrain, but nothing as awesome as your set up. I will be getting some of the Kobblestone buildings. Thanks |

Zeelow and Rogues1, thank you both. Rogues1, you will love the Kobblestone Miniatures buildings. They are great pieces. Richard |

Wow! Great Layout. In fact looking at that last photo, I wish I was right in it, with my Marshalltown, bullwhip, and fedora. |

mandt2, if you get a chance, take a look at the entire gallery… it's big, and I think you'll find that if you were in the last photo of the entire gallery you would need more than your bullwhip and fedora. Thanks so much for the kind words and for taking the time to write. Richard |
